Ideal for extended families or groups seeking the perfect balance of shared and private space, this combo offers charm, comfort and unbeatable proximity to Sorrento Back Beach just 250 metres from your doorstep.
As the last property before the sand begins and nestled beside the Sorrento Back Beach National Park, you’re perfectly positioned to step straight onto the iconic Artists’ Trail, carved from limestone by George Coppin. Spend your days exploring walking tracks between Portsea and Cape Schanck, swimming in the natural rock pools, or simply soaking in the surrounding beauty and fresh sea air.
The Family Townhouse sleeps up to 5 guests across two levels, featuring a fresh, light-filled interior with whitewashed beams and relaxed coastal charm. Enjoy two private courtyards, one at the front and another at the rear framed by tea trees and native plants, ideal for morning coffees or unwinding under the stars. Inside, you’ll find reverse-cycle air conditioning upstairs and down, TVs on both levels, and a compact kitchenette with an induction cooktop, microwave, sandwich press, Nespresso coffee machine, fridge with freezer compartment, and washer/dryer combo.
An interconnecting door expands the space to include our fully accessible King Studio which offers a private, self-contained space perfect for couples or grandparents travelling with the family. It sleeps up to 3 guests with a plush king bed and optional fold-out single. The studio features its own light-filled living space, a well-equipped kitchenette with a plug-in cooktop stove, microwave, Nespresso machine and fridge, plus reverse-cycle air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. It also includes access to a private courtyard and the shared BBQ area with large outdoor dining table.
Both accommodations share a tranquil coastal setting, a clearly marked off-street parking space each, outdoor settings, and private clotheslines – making longer stays easy and enjoyable.
Just a 7-minute stroll brings you to Sorrento’s vibrant township filled with boutique shops, artisan cafes, galleries, wine bars, and day spas. The front beach and ferry terminal are just 1.4 km away, and local highlights like Portsea Hotel, the Quarantine Station, Millionaires’ Walk, and Cameron’s Bight are all within easy reach. Just 90 minutes from Melbourne, this elegant seaside town is loved for its turquoise waters, dramatic back beach cliffs, boutique shopping and vibrant food scene. Stroll along historic limestone streets lined with cafes, galleries and fashion boutiques, or explore natural wonders like the Sorrento Back Beach rock pools, Millionaires’ Walk and the walking trails through the National Park. With easy access to wineries, hot springs, dolphin swims and the Queenscliff ferry, Sorrento is the perfect base for both relaxation and adventure on the Peninsula.

King Studio – 1 x King by default (or 2 x King Singles upon request with 48 hours notice & surcharge) + 1 Single fold out bed.
If you prefer more flexibility, we also offer the option of splitting the king beds into singles, with an additional surcharge of $60.00. Kindly inform us at the time of booking if you wish to modify the default bed configuration. Please note that any changes should be requested at the time of booking. We’re unable to accommodate split bed requests for arrivals within 48 hours. Additionally, for insurance purposes, all guests are required to provide valid form of government identification prior to arrival via our booking platform.
We do not have a reception at the Apartments and checkin is contactless for your convenience. At our establishment, we take pride in maintaining a peaceful environment for all and complying with our local council short stay rental accommodation local law 22. Please note, if you choose to stay on the Mornington Peninsula you will be obliged to obey the below Short Stay Code of Conduct:
– Between 7am and 11pm you are entitled to quiet enjoyment of the property.
– Between 11pm and 7am – There is to be NO NOISE. Outdoor areas including swimming pools, spas, outdoor decking and balconies are not to be used.
– At any time there is to be NO LOUD: (a) Aggressive behaviour (b) Yelling, screaming and arguing (c) Cheering, clapping and singing.
– All guests’ cars are to be parked off street or park in areas that do not impact on the neighbours.
– Additional accommodation is not allowed on site by way of tents, caravans, campervans.
– No excess rubbish is to be left at the property.
The Weekend Escape team will be available for the duration of your stay during business hours and an emergency out of hours contact number provided for anything out of the ordinary.
Getting around Sorrento is both convenient and enjoyable, offering various options to suit different preferences and travel plans. Walking: Sorrento’s compact town centre is ideal for exploring on foot. Stroll along Ocean Beach Road to discover charming boutiques, cafes, and historic limestone buildings. Nearby attractions like the Sorrento Front Beach, Sorrento Park, and the Artists’ Trail are easily accessible by walking. Public Transport: Ventura Bus Lines operates Route 788, connecting Sorrento to Frankston via towns like Blairgowrie, Rye, and Rosebud. This route links with the Frankston train line, providing access to Melbourne’s broader public transport network. Ferries: The Searoad Ferry offers a scenic 40-minute ride between Sorrento and Queenscliff, accommodating both passengers and vehicles. This service provides a picturesque alternative route across Port Phillip Bay. Driving: While having a car offers flexibility, parking in Sorrento can be limited and may incur fees. If you choose to drive, be prepared for narrow roads and consider parking availability, especially during peak seasons. Taxis and Rideshares: Taxis are available in Sorrento, though fares can be high. Booking a private transfer or using rideshare services can be more economical and convenient for certain trips. Overall, Sorrento’s accessible layout and transport options make it easy to navigate, whether you’re exploring the town center or venturing to nearby attractions.
