Oceanic Apartments Sorrento invites you to unwind in one of the most breathtaking corners of the Mornington Peninsula. Just 250 metres from the raw, windswept beauty of Sorrento Back Beach and nestled alongside the peaceful expanse of the National Park, this King Studio is the perfect base for couples or small groups seeking a relaxed coastal escape.
As the very last property before the sand begins, the studio places you right on the edge of nature, with direct access to the iconic Artists’ Trail that meanders between Portsea and Cape Schanck. Spend your days exploring coastal walking tracks, swimming in the natural rock pools, or simply taking in the scenery – all from your doorstep.
Inside, the light-filled studio sleeps up to three guests with a luxurious king bed and the option of a fold-out single bed. The interiors are fresh and simple, with crisp white beams and a breezy coastal aesthetic that makes you feel instantly at ease. Reverse-cycle air conditioning ensures comfort throughout the year, and a flat-screen TV offers easy entertainment when you’re winding down.
The cleverly appointed kitchenette includes a plug-in cooktop stove, microwave, sandwich press, Nespresso coffee pod machine and a single-door fridge with internal freezer – everything you need for light holiday cooking. A washer/dryer combo makes longer stays easy, and outside, guests can enjoy a private front courtyard, plus access to a shared BBQ area with a large table for alfresco meals. There’s also a private clothesline, a two-seater outdoor setting at the front, and your own clearly marked car space for added convenience.
Sorrento’s buzzing village is just a 7-minute walk away, offering everything from boutique fashion and galleries to artisan cafes, award-winning restaurants and soothing day spas. The front beach and ferry terminal are also within walking distance (1.4 km), while nearby attractions like the Portsea Hotel, Quarantine Station, Millionaires’ Walk, and Cameron’s Bight showcase the area’s rich history and coastal charm.

Kindly inform us at the time of booking if you wish to modify the default bed configuration. Please note that any changes should be requested at the time of booking. We’re unable to accommodate split bed requests for same day arrivals.
Additionally, for insurance purposes, all guests are required to provide valid form of government identification prior to arrival via our booking platform. We do not have a reception at the Apartments and checkin is contactless for your convenience. At our establishment, we take pride in maintaining a peaceful environment for all and complying with our local council short stay rental accommodation local law 22.
Please note, if you choose to stay on the Mornington Peninsula you will be obliged to obey the below Short Stay Code of Conduct:
– Between 7am and 11pm you are entitled to quiet enjoyment of the property.
– Between 11pm and 7am – There is to be NO NOISE. Outdoor areas including swimming pools, spas, outdoor decking and balconies are not to be used.
– At any time there is to be NO LOUD: (a) Aggressive behaviour (b) Yelling, screaming and arguing (c) Cheering, clapping and singing.
– All guests’ cars are to be parked off street or park in areas that do not impact on the neighbours.
– Additional accommodation is not allowed on site by way of tents, caravans, campervans.
– No excess rubbish is to be left at the property.
The Weekend Escape team will be available for the duration of your stay during business hours and an emergency out of hours contact number provided for anything out of the ordinary.

Nearby attractions like the Sorrento Front Beach, Sorrento Park, and the Artists’ Trail are easily accessible by walking. Public Transport: Ventura Bus Lines operates Route 788, connecting Sorrento to Frankston via towns like Blairgowrie, Rye, and Rosebud. This route links with the Frankston train line, providing access to Melbourne’s broader public transport network. Ferries: The Searoad Ferry offers a scenic 40-minute ride between Sorrento and Queenscliff, accommodating both passengers and vehicles. This service provides a picturesque alternative route across Port Phillip Bay. Driving: While having a car offers flexibility, parking in Sorrento can be limited and may incur fees. If you choose to drive, be prepared for narrow roads and consider parking availability, especially during peak seasons. Taxis and Rideshares: Taxis are available in Sorrento, though fares can be high. Booking a private transfer or using rideshare services can be more economical and convenient for certain trips.
